Feature overview
Goals
The aim of the Mobile Enterprise Companion feature is to provide a streamlined experience for mobile Users by introducing Enterprise Portal navigation flows optimized for small screens (smartphones or tablets). The purpose is not to replicate the full functionality of the Enterprise Portal, but to focus on the most important connectivity features required to manage SIMs while on the go.
Out of scope
Full functionality of the Enterprise Portal.
CSP view of SIM management on a global context (which is not Account dedicated) is not supported.
Branding options besides colors, font and logo.
Functionality of the feature
The Mobile Enterprise Companion delivers most relevant SIM management capabilities in a mobile-friendly format. Designed for small screens, it provides responsive navigation and touch-optimized workflows, giving Users quick access to key features without unnecessary complexity.
The Mobile Enterprise Companion focuses on the most relevant areas for managing connectivity on the go, including SIM Details and Basic Diagnostic, SIM Pools, Dashboards, Devices, Add-Ons, and Supplemental Price Plans.
To ensure a seamless experience, Users can be automatically redirected to the mobile interface during login. This behavior is configurable.
All actions are performed within an Account context, maintaining alignment with Enterprise Portal rules and preventing unauthorized access to SIM or Account services. The Mobile Enterprise Companion enforces the same ACLs, business rules, and restrictions as the corresponding desktop portal, ensuring compliance and security across platforms.
Branding options are supported, allowing customization of text colors, background, logo and font, to reflect your corporate identity.
