Scope

This document provides background information as well as a functional description of the FT-1007.003 Self-service Ad-hoc Reports standard feature. The described feature is supported from the release version 4.0 onwards.

Note

Self-service Ad-hoc Reports is a standard feature and does not require a special license.

This feature is part of the Account Dashboard & Reporting functionality with number FN-2006.

Goals

The aim of the Self-service Ad-hoc Reports feature is to allow Enterprise Users to promptly generate ad-hoc reports, that provide details on the usage of SIM Cards.

Technical Prerequisites

This feature does not require any specific technical integrations for standard operation.

While no direct dependencies apply in typical scenarios, additional integrations or configurations may be necessary depending on the customer's infrastructure, business processes, or regulatory environment.

Functionality of the feature

Usage Queries allow Enterprise Users to instantly create reports on the data, SMS, or voice usage of all the SIM Cards available to their given level in the organization hierarchy.

The Usage Query Tool allows to define the type of information that will be produced by the Usage Query (i.e., periodicity and type of usage) and also the time range and grouping of the Usage Query results.

Usage Query reports are immediately available for download after they are created.
