Benefits
When managing the purchase orders for your Enterprise Customers, it’s important to understand how many resources are available at any given time. In this case, we refer to number of SIMs and number of IP addresses which are unused and can still be assigned. With this information you can ensure a smooth processing of SIM and IP assignation, avoiding errors and the need to redo the activity.
Feature overview
Goals
The aim of the SIM Inventory & IP Pool Stock Reports feature is to provide information about the current stock of SIM Products and IP Addresses so that CSP can easily monitor remaining stock on-demand.
Out of scope
Any kind of notifications or event processing.
Functionality of the feature
CMP introduces a graphical presentation of the remaining SIMs related to a SIM Product and a daily report to show the current stock of SIM Products and IP Addresses.
CMP shows the percentage of SIMs that have been used from a SIM Product, where the baseline (i.e., total available) is the number of SIM Cards assigned to the given SIM Product. The percentage compares the total amount to the number of SIM Cards in the Operator Inventory status. The higher the percentage, the fewer SIMs are in Operator Inventory status.
Additionally, CMP offers a daily CSP Report for the stock of SIM Products (one line per SIM Product) and IP Addresses (one line per IP Address Pool).
