Benefits
Through Troubleshooting Console feature, the CSP will again real-time visibility into the performance and health of critical processes within the CMP system, using Grafana, a powerful and flexible tool. This allows proactive identification and resolution of any issues, minimizing downtime, and ensuring smooth operations. This proactive approach helps prevent network disruptions, maintain service reliability, and minimize customer impact.
It enables efficient troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis. With real-time insights into process performance and dependencies, users can quickly identify the root causes of issues, reducing mean time to repair (MTTR) and minimizing the impact on customers. This empowers technical teams to resolve issues efficiently and improve overall network resilience.
Feature overview
Goals
The aim of the Troubleshooting Console feature is to enhance operational efficiency and support capabilities for our customers. By providing real-time insights into platform health and service performance, it facilitates both proactive and reactive support across multiple organizational roles. This ensures superior support and maintains service excellence.
Functionality of the feature
The Troubleshooting Console offers a range of functionalities to meet the diverse needs of customers. It provides real-time visibility into the platform and its underlying infrastructure through Grafana dashboards, which display critical metrics and performance indicators. This enables support engineers to address immediate issues and monitor basic performance indicators effectively.
The console includes alerting and trend analysis capabilities to help identify and resolve issues before they impact customers. It supports detailed diagnostics for infrastructure-related and service-level challenges, with dashboards tailored to the needs of support engineers at different levels.
To ensure operational stability and integration with network services, the console provides insights into various layers of the CMP stack, including infrastructure, databases, connectivity, and application services. It offers flexible implementation options, including on-premises deployment and integration into existing Grafana instances.
The console comes with a set of pre-configured dashboards designed to offer actionable insights tailored to different operational roles. These dashboards cover areas such as the infrastructure layer, databases, connectivity layer, and application services.
