Scope

This document provides background information as well as a functional description of the FT-2002.017 Move SIM Cards to Sub-Account standard feature. The described feature is supported from the release version 4.0 onwards.

Note

Move SIM Cards to Sub-Account is a standard feature and does not require a special license.

This feature is part of the SIM Card Self-Administration functionality with number FN-2002.

Goals

The aim of the Move SIM Cards to Sub-Account feature is to allow Enterprise Users to transfer their SIM Cards within Account hierarchies.

Out of scope

•  Moving SIM Cards to foreign Accounts, i.e., Accounts outside of the Account hierarchy

Functionality of the feature

CMP allows Enterprise Users to move SIM Cards within Account hierarchies (i.e., between Parent- and Sub-Accounts) both in the Enterprise Portal. However, SIMs cannot be transferred to a foreign Account with this feature.

When moving a SIM within the Account hierarchy a target configuration has to be defined for

• Price Plan,

• APN Group, and

• Service Profile.
