Feature overview
Goals
The aim of the CSP User Groups Management feature is to allow the organization of Users into User Groups in order to simplify the assignment and management of Access Rights.
Functionality of the feature
CMP enables the organization of Users into User Groups in order to simplify management by allowing Access Rights to be assigned to the User Group rather than individual User Accounts. As a result, User Groups on different levels in the organization hierarchy can have different sets of Users and Access Rights assigned.
Service Providers can manage User Groups in the CAS User Management application.
The set of Access Rights assigned to the User Group, i.e. the Group Rights will be given to all of the Users assigned to the group.
