Scope

This document provides background information as well as a functional description of the FT-1007.001 CSP Reports standard feature. The described feature is supported from the release version 4.0 onwards.

This feature is part of the CSP Dashboard & Reporting functionality with number FN-1007.

Feature overview

Goals

The aim of the CSP Reports feature is to allow Service Providers to manage the list of generated CSP Reports and to obtain information about their Platform through the reports.

Functionality of the feature

CMP provides a set of predefined CSP Reports in the Resource Manager and allows Service Providers to select which reports to be generated. All the available CSP Reports present data relative to their name, and the data of the reports are retrieved from the CMP based on a specific Query that is unique to each report. Data for the CSP Reports are collected from the Platform of each Network Provider, and in case multiple Network Providers exist on the CMP instance, more than one Network Providers may be added to the report.

CSPs can use the report data to remain knowledgeable of and manage their Platform.

Service Providers are able to create variations of the predefined CSP Reports by copying one of the predefined queries, however, new queries (i.e., reports) may only be created in coordination with MAVOCO.

The frequency of the CSP Reports' generation can be defined in the CMP. CSP Reports can be generated either daily, weekly, monthly, or the Service Provider can define a custom periodicity for the reports.

CSP Reports in the CMP follow the simple resource lifecycle (Draft-Active-Inactive), therefore need to be activated first in order to be generated.

Preconfigured CSP Report Types

All available CSP Reports and their respective Queries come predefined in the Resource Manager. The table below lists all the preconfigured CSP Reports available to the Service Providers.
