Scope

This document provides background information as well as a functional description of the FT-1001.012 CSP Dashboard standard feature. The described feature is supported from the release version 4.0 onwards.

Note

CSP Dashboard is a standard feature and does not require a special license.

This feature is part of the CSP Dashboard & Reporting functionality with number FN-1007.

Goals

The aim of the CSP Dashboard feature is to allow Service Providers to gain business insights through several perspectives on current and ongoing business figures and provide relevant information so that they'll get an overview of their SIM estate.

Functionality of the feature

CSP Dashboard (CSP Portal)

The Dashboard of the CSP Portal allows the Service Provider to gain business insights through several perspectives on current and ongoing business figures.

Based on their content, the charts available by default are divided into four categories:

• Summary

• Account

• SIM

• Revenue

The following charts are included by default in the preconfigured Dashboards.

Summary

• Total Billable SIMs: Total number of SIM Cards that are assigned to Accounts and are billable (i.e. in Billing Status In Billing or Suspended).

• Total Charges: Total revenue per Account, including recurring charges, one-time charges, activation fees, and overage.

• Average Revenue per User (ARPU): Total Charges per Billing Cycle divided by Total Billable SIMs at the end of the Billing Cycle.

• Billable Usage: Total data transferred by all Accounts.

• Total Billable Accounts: Total number of billable Accounts, i.e. Accounts in status Account in CMP with Billing Status Billable.

Account

• Total Billable Accounts: Total number of billable Accounts, i.e. Accounts in status Account in CMP with Billing Status Billable.

• Net Account Growth: The number of Churned Accounts is subtracted from the number of New Accounts to calculate Net Account Growth.

• New Accounts: Number of Accounts that were not billable in the last Billing Cycle and became billable in the selected Billing Cycle.

• Churned Accounts: Number of Accounts that are no longer billable in comparison to the previous Billing Cycle.

SIM

• Total Number of SIMs: Total number of SIM Cards assigned to Accounts.

• Total Billable SIMs: Total number of SIM Cards that are assigned to Accounts and are billable (i.e. in Billing Status In Billing or Suspended).

• Total Non-Billable SIMs: Total number of SIM Cards in Billing Status In Testing.

• Net SIM Growth: Number of SIM Cards activated in the selected Billing Cycle.

• New SIM Activations: Number of SIM Cards activated in the selected Billing Cycle.

• Average Activation Time: The average time between when the SIM Purchase Order was placed and when the SIM was assigned to the Account.

• Deactivated SIMs: Number of SIM Cards deactivated in the selected Billing Cycle.

• SIM in Service Provider Inventory: Number of SIM Cards that are yet to be assigned to an Account, i.e. in Resource Status Operator Inventory.

Revenue

• Total Charges: Total revenue per Account, including recurring charges, one-time charges, activation fees, and overage.

• Subscription Charges: Total of Subscription Charges for all Accounts in the selected Billing Cycle.

• Data Charges: Total of Data overage charges for all SIM Cards in all Accounts in the selected Billing Cycle.

• Voice Charges: Total of Voice overage charges for all SIM Cards in all Accounts in the selected Billing Cycle.

• SMS Charges: Total of SMS overage charges for all SIM Cards in all Accounts in the selected Billing Cycle.

• Activation Charges: Total of Activation Charges from all Accounts in the selected Billing Cycle.

• Other Charges: Total of Other Charges for all Accounts in the selected Billing Cycle.

CSP Dashboard (Resource Manager)

The CSP Dashboard of Resource Manager allows the Service Provider to gain an overview of their SIM estate and their Accounts. The two submenus of the CSP Dashboard provide a set of key data points a series of diagrams that are available for the Network Operators.

Users can customize the Dashboard based on their needs and preferences by selecting the set of available items to be displayed.

SIM Logistics

The SIM Logistics dashboard page gives a quick overview of the SIM Products, the SIM availability by SIM Provider, SIM Vendor, SIM Product, and SIM Batch, and the status trend of SIM Cards in the timeline.

The SIM Logistics tab shows the following main data points:

• Network Operators: Number of Network Operators in the CMP.

• Active SIM Vendors: Number of currently active SIM Vendors in the CMP.

• Active SIM Products: Number of currently active SIM Products in the CMP.

• SIM Cards: Total number of SIM Cards in the CMP.

• Assigned SIM Cards: Number of currently assigned (i.e. in Resource Status ASSIGNED) SIM Cards in CMP.

The following diagrams are available on the SIM Logistics page:

• Notes: Space to create custom notes.

• Network Operator by SIM Status: A graphical view of the amount of SIM Cards in each SIM Status separated by Network Operator.

• SIM Products by SIM Status: A graphical view of the amount of SIM Cards in each SIM Status separated by SIM Product.

• Vendors by SIM Status: A graphical view of the amount of SIM Cards in each SIM Status separated by SIM Vendor.

• Batch by SIM Status: A graphical view of the amount of SIM Cards in each SIM Status separated by SIM Batch.

• SIM Status Trend: A graphical view of the SIM Status changes over time.

Account Statistics

The Account Statistics Dashboard page gives a quick overview of the number of Accounts, Account Status, Billing Status, and Distribution by Country and City.

The Account Statistics tab shows the following main data points:

• Total Accounts: Total number of Accounts in the CMP.

• Active Accounts: Number of currently active Accounts in the CMP.

• Leads: Number of Accounts currently in Lead status in the CMP.

• Accounts in Billing: Number of Accounts currently in billing in the CMP.

• Countries: Number of Accounts by Country in the CMP.

The following diagrams are available on the Account Statistics page:

• Accounts: A geographical view of the distribution of the Accounts.

• Account by Status: A graphical view of the number of Accounts in each Status of the Account Lifecycle.

• Billing Status: A graphical view of the number of Billable and Not Billable Accounts.

• Status by Country: A graphical view of the number of Accounts in each Status of the Account Lifecycle separated by Country.

• Account by Country and City: A graphical view of the number of Accounts separated by Country.
