Feature overview
Goals
The aim of the Invoice Presentation feature is to give Enterprise Users information about the invoices that the CSP has issued to the User’s Account.
Preconditions & Assumption
Voice usage is only displayed in cases where the Voice feature is enabled on the CMP instance
Functionality of the feature
A CMP license feature determines whether or not Invoice information can be displayed in CMP. If the feature is enabled
until the 4.3.8 version of CMP, the list of invoices is displayed in the Enterprise Portal Dashboard, and
in the 5.0 and later versions of CMP, the list of invoices is displayed in the Account and Administration area of the Enterprise Portal.
A Portal Access Right (ACL) determines whether the User has access to the Invoices section of the Enterprise Portal.
The Enterprise Portal's Invoices menu under the Account tab displays a list of past Invoices created in previous Billing Cycles. Individual invoice summary details can be viewed by selecting them from the Invoice list.
Note that the Invoices menu is only available in the Account context.
The Invoices section under the Administration tab gives CSP Users information about the invoices that have been issued to the Enterprise Accounts. Individual invoice summary details can be viewed by selecting them from the Invoice list.
Note that the Invoices section under the Administration tab of the Enterprise Portal is only available in Root context.
Each CMP instance can be configured to allow Users to view the Invoice Detail Summary details, download PDF versions of the invoices, or both.
The following configuration values are available:
NONE (default): The Summary view option is not available.
SUMMARY-VIEW: The Summary view option is enabled.
PDF-DOWNLOAD: PDF download access is enabled.
ALL: All invoice access methods are enabled.
Note that PDF download is only available if the invoices are created via Billing Manager in the CMP.
